Celebrities are often celebrated for their beauty during pregnancy, and a number of pregnant celebrities have taken part in high profile photography shoots for magazine covers and spreads.
While most pregnant women are holed up on the sofa in sweat pants, celebrity mamas-to-be are still having their hair styled and smiling for the camera. The result is that there are some pretty beautiful photographs showing the wonder of a pregnant body.
A number of celebrity mamas have also paid homage to their breastfeeding journey through photos. It’s always exciting to find out your favourite celebrity is breastfeeding. Why does it matter? Well, it doesn’t, really. But a breastfeeding celebrity helps to normalise breastfeeding. It reminds society that breastfeeding women can be desirable and sexy. And it’s always great to find out you have something in common with your favourite celebrity. #1: Nicole Trunfio On The Cover Of Elle
When model and new mama, Nicole Trunfio, was invited to feature on the cover of Elle magazine, she had no idea it would be a decision hailed by breastfeeding advocates. Nicole’s four month old son, Zion, was at the shoot and featuring in some of the photos. When the shoot was paused to allow Nicole to breastfeed her baby, they quickly realised what a great photograph that would make.

#2: Olivia Wilde For Glamour
Olivia and her baby son, Otis, were photographed together last year for a shoot in Glamour magazine. One of the images captures a tender moment as Olivia lovingly gazes down at her naked son during a feed.
Olivia told Glamour, “Being shot with Otis is so perfect because any portrait of me right now isn’t complete without my identity as a mother being a part of that. Breastfeeding is the most natural thing. I don’t know, now it feels like Otis should always be on my breast.”
#3: Demi Moore On The Cover Of Vanity Fair
Demi Moore reportedly shocked the world when she appeared naked on the front cover of Vanity Fair when she was seven months pregnant with her daughter. The photograph, taken by Annie Leibovitz, showed the beauty and empowerment of pregnancy.
#4: Angelina Jolie On The Cover Of W Magazine
W Magazine
wanted to know what life was really like for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and so they commissioned a piece that would look into daily life for the Pitt-Jolie family. Rather than have a photographer follow the family around, Brad decided to take on the role behind the camera.
The resulting images are intimate, beautiful and show what family life is really like for this world famous family. One of the images showed Angelina breastfeeding one of the twins, and that was chosen to feature on the magazine’s front cover.
#5: Doutzen Kroes In Vogue
Dutch model, Doutzen Kroes, and her kids appeared together on the front cover of Vogue Netherlands. During the family photo shoot, the photographer snapped a gorgeous photograph of Doutzen breastfeeding her five month old daughter, Myllena. Beside them, her husband, DJ Sunnery James, and four year old son, Phyllon, enjoy a cuddle.
